Seven graduates of Julia Sysalova’s online school are participating in the IX Chianciano Biennale.

On August 15, 2026, the IX Chianciano Biennale - an international contemporary art exhibition - opened in Tuscany.

This year, the biennale is held across multiple venues: the Museo d’Arte di Chianciano and 13 galleries in the city’s medieval center. The international exhibition features works by around 300 artists from 60 countries, selected through an open call from several thousand applications.
Among the participants are seven graduates of Julia Sysalova’s online school: Natalya Raduenz, Irina Metz, Marina Kulow, Inna Voronova, Mariia Shevchenko, Olga Neff, and Veronika Obushikhina.

The Chianciano Biennale is being held for the ninth time. In 2026, the organizers significantly expanded its geography within the city: in addition to the exhibition halls of the Museo d’Arte di Chianciano, covering more than 3,000 square meters, galleries and historic spaces in old Chianciano have also been included.

The exhibition is not limited to a single theme or medium. Submissions included painting, graphics, sculpture, photography, installation, digital and video art, textiles, and mixed media works. Selection was carried out by an international jury based on the submitted artworks. Participation is free after passing the selection process.

The IX Chianciano Biennale takes place in Chianciano Terme from August 15 to August 29.
Admission to all exhibition venues is free.
