Julia Sysalova
Chief curator
With a deep passion for contemporary art and a keen eye for emerging talent, Julia brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the gallery. Her dedication to promoting artistic expression and fostering dialogue between artists and audiences is evident in every exhibition and project she curates. Julia Sysalova is an active curator and organizer of international exhibitions, a cultural studies expert, art critic, and member of the International Association of Art Critics. She is a researcher of contemporary art, a theorist and practitioner with 24 years of experience in intercultural communication. She serves as a research fellow at the European Institute of Communication, founder of the Online School of Art Communications, and Vice President of the Institute of Mediterranean Culture (Greece).
For over 14 years, she has been dedicated to the development of both individual artists and creative collectives. She curates their participation in major exhibition projects and organizes group and solo shows in museums and galleries across Europe, the United States, and Russia.

    She is also the creator and lead instructor of the social media marketing and sales module in the course "How to Build a Path to Success as an Artist." With a strong background in digital strategy and audience engagement, Maria helps artists develop the practical tools they need to promote their work, grow their online presence, and connect with collectors and curators worldwide.

    Assistant Curator & Conceptual Artist

    Oxana is the curator of the course ""How to Build a Path to Success as an Artist." A conceptual artist and graduate of the second cohort of the program, she brings both creative insight and personal experience to her role. Oxana supports emerging artists in shaping their vision, navigating the contemporary art world, and building a meaningful, sustainable practice.
