December 18, 2025,
Julia Sysalova, founder of JS Gallery, took part in the international conference “Non-governmental Organizations of Europe and Asia: Dialogue for Sustainable Development in 2026” at the United Nations in Geneva.Julia participated as a speaker and expert in a key panel and two roundtable discussions focused on sustainable development, culture, and migration.
Her presentation on the cultural and philosophical dimensions of sustainable development resonated deeply with the audience during the panel moderated by
Jeffrey Levett (USA), featuring
Steven Roy (Great Britain),
Igor Kondrashin (WPF),
Paris Katsivelos (Greece), and other distinguished speakers.
She presented the experience of Art Communication School as a sustainable model of cultural and professional adaptation, directly linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
Culture was discussed not as a secondary “soft factor,” but as an infrastructure of sustainable development, highlighting the importance of intercultural communication, art, and education, including the Frontpage project, co-curated by Julia Sysalova.
This moment marks a milestone for the
School of Art Communications and
JS-Gallery, as artists and members of the Art Club proudly followed Julia’s speech - a symbolic representation of how contemporary art and philosophy can inspire and shape global dialogue at the UN stage.
