Working in the field of minimalist graphics, Marina creates visual constructions in which a strict structure is combined with poetic ambiguity. Her works open up space for reflection, offering the viewer the opportunity for individual interpretation.
Marina's artistic practice develops in dialogue with the surrounding cultural landscape: her minimalism is organically accepted by the Latvian art community. She actively collaborates with artists, photographers, musicians, as well as book and magazine publishers.
A significant stage in her professional evolution was her studies at online School of Art Communication by Julia Sysalova (Athens), which opened up new horizons for understanding art as a system of visual communication.
