BIO

Svetlana Fenster is a Cyprus-based artist born in the Ural region. With a professional background in IT, she consciously incorporates technological knowledge into her artistic practice, allowing her to view her work from both technological and humanistic perspectives. This approach deepens her exploration of internal privacy and reflection. In her search for the most transparent and engaging forms of visual expression, she experiments with the potential of soft pastels.

She participates in international exhibitions across Cyprus, the USA, Europe, and Russia. She is a member of the National Pastel Society of Russia in the status of “Experienced Artist.” Her works are held in private collections worldwide. As an eco-activist, she represents the international platform Null.art, which supports several eco-projects.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Through my work, I hear the voice of nature expressing themes of renewal, purification, and liberation. While the human figure in my artworks is often absent from the canvas, he serves as my main character.

My paintings depict the world through the eyes of a man who returns to his roots, sheds the distractions of society, and discovers inner silence. My art is an invitation to a journey where every step leads to the search for a balance between external and internal.
